Find Homeless People Inc. is a California-based non-profit organization that finds appropriate housing for homeless and at-risk people in the Greater Los Angeles Area in addition to feeding, clothing, organizing monthly mobile medical services, and providing free resources available at FindHomelessPeople.org to locate a homeless or at-risk person (in or around Los Angeles) and reconnect them with their loved ones immediately.

Other ways that Find Homeless People consistently support local homeless and at-risk families are by: Mentoring those that need guidance to achieve a fresh start, Delivering healthy foods, Providing brand new clothes and blankets, Distributing hygiene kits including sanitizers, dental care, and feminine care products, Organizing access to mobile health clinics like the Central Neighborhood Health Foundation’s for anyone that does not have health insurance, and Sharing housing vouchers with homeless and at-risk individuals and families.

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing animal cruelty. Based in New York City since its inception in 1866, the organization's mission is "to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States."

The ASPCA was founded on the belief that animals are entitled to kind and respectful treatment at the hands of humans and must be protected under the law. The ASPCA maintains a strong local presence, and with programs that extend the ASPCA anti-cruelty mission across the country, the ASPCA is recognized as a national welfare organization.

Freedom House is a non-profit, majority U.S. government funded organization in Washington, D.C., that conducts research and advocacy on democracy, political freedom, and human rights. Freedom House was founded in October 1941, and Wendell Willkie and Eleanor Roosevelt served as its first honorary chairpersons.

Freedom House supports frontline activists in their efforts to defend fundamental rights, including to document abuses, advocate for justice, end impunity, and fortify the self-protection of human rights defenders. The American Cancer Society is a nationwide voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer. Established in 1913, the society is organized into six geographical regions of both medical and lay volunteers operating in more than 250 Regional offices throughout the United States.

The Wounded Warrior Family Foundation (WWFS) provides support to the families of those who have been wounded, injured or killed during combat operations. The families of our casualties suffer in many ways: some physically, some psychologically.

The Wounded Warrior Family Foundation serves millions of veterans and their families through WWFS programs such as: Caregiver Respite, Family Retreats, Mobility is Freedom, and Veteran Welding Training. WWFS, an independent non-profit organization, is rated a four-star non-profit by Charity Navigator. The WWFS aids veterans and their families healing the wounds that medicine cannot.

The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) is an American LGBTQ advocacy group. It is the largest LGBTQ political lobbying organization within the United States. HRC empowers its 3 million members and supporters to mobilize against attacks on the most marginalized people in our community. HRC breaks down the barriers that divide us. I Stand With Ukraine

Razom is a non-profit Ukrainian-American human rights organization established in 2014 to support the people of Ukraine. Razom means "together" in Ukrainian. Its main goals are increasing civic engagement within Ukraine and engaging the voices of Ukrainians around the world. Razom creates spaces, where people meet, partner and work together to unlock the potential of Ukraine.

Razom maintains a relentless focus on the needs on the ground to support Ukraine and on opportunities to amplify voices from Ukraine in conversations in the United States. The critical humanitarian war relief and recovery provided by Razom addresses the most urgent needs as they evolve. Black Lives Matter

Black Lives Matter is a decentralized political and social movement that seeks to highlight racism, discrimination, and racial inequality experienced by black people. Its primary concerns are incidents of police brutality and racially motivated violence against black people.

Black Lives Matter was founded in 2013 in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin’s murder. Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, Inc. is a global organization in the U.S., U.K., and Canada whose mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by the state and vigilantes. By combating and countering acts of violence, creating space for Black imagination and innovation, and centering Black joy, the organization impacts and immediately improves the lives of those they serve.

Operation Homefront is a nonprofit 501 organization headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, and Arlington, Virginia. Its stated mission is to "build strong, stable, and secure military families so that they can thrive in the communities they have worked so hard to protect."

For over 20 years, Operation Homefront has provided programs that offer: Relief (through Critical Financial Assistance and transitional housing programs), Resiliency (through permanent housing), and Recurring Family Support programs and services throughout the year that help military families overcome the short-term bumps in the road so they don’t become long-term chronic problems. The Law Enforcement Officers Relief Fund (LEORF)was established to provide support and resources to officers or the immediate surviving family members of the Law Enforcement Community when tragedy strikes.

The Law Enforcement Officers Relief Fund supports officers critically injured on their immediate surviving family member if killed in the line-of-duty. The funds are to provide some assistance in transition of long-term recovery not to make them whole. The goal of LEORF is to lessen the immediate financial hardship and provide assistance due to the result of disaster, violence, or any other calamity. LEORF is a non-profit charitable corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.

Heal the Bay is an environmental nonprofit established in 1985 that is dedicated to making the coastal waters and watersheds in Greater Los Angeles safe, healthy, and clean. Heal the Bay uses science, education, community action, and advocacy to fulfill its mission.

Beach and neighborhood cleanups are just the beginning. Heal the Bay staff work to mobilize LA’s diverse communities to protect our coastline, restore our waterways, and speak out for clean water policy across our watersheds. For more than three decades, Heal the Bay has been a strong and trusted advocate for the Santa Monica Bay. But a healthy Bay requires a healthy LA. eBike Wow

Wheels 4 Life is a non-profit charity (501c(3)), that provides bicycles to people in great need of transportation throughout the developing world. These people are those that live in both primitive and remote areas, with no access to, nor the means of affording public transportation. The closest school, doctor, or workplace might be as far as 10 to 20 miles away.

Wheels 4 Life is founded by Carmen and Hans Rey. They believe that something as simple as a bicycle can have a profound and life changing positive effect on someone’s life. Whether it is a child that can now travel to school, or the farmer that can now bring a larger load of produce to the market, or the nurse that can visit many more patients, the difference a bicycle can make is quite incredible. Behind each person that received a bicycle, a chain of events has occurred that allowed this to happen. Thousands of people in over 30 countries have benefited from a Wheels 4 Life bicycle.

Liberty Means Responsibility

Meanwhile, the perpetrators walk free. George and Amal Clooney created the Clooney Foundation for Justice to combat this: by waging justice, one case at a time. The aim of CFJ is to wage justice to create a world where human rights are protected, and no one is above the law. The Clooney Foundation for Justice seeks to bend the arc of history towards justice.
